SuperbStrap reinforcements are polymeric strips with an inner core of high tenacity polyester filament yarn tendons and an outer sheath of linear low-density polyethylene, specifically engineered for demanding soil reinforcement applications. Polyester filament yarns of high tenacity, high molecular weight and low carboxyl end groups are used in the tendons to ensure high tensile strength and stiffness, low creep and excellent durability. The LLDPE sheath provides a tough, flexible and textured covering to the polyester tendons imparting dimensional stability, protection to the tendons from weathering and mechanical damage and developing excellent frictional interaction with fill. The product with high long-term design strength and stiffness and excellent bond strength is ideal for the reinforcement of soils and other fills for the construction of reinforced soil structures.

SuperbStrap are ideal for soil reinforcement and their polyester (load carrying element) base, along with a durable polymer coating, negates any effect of adverse chemicals in soils on the performance of SuperbStrapTM. Polyester as a polymer is superior to HDPE & PP in terms of durability, toughness, resistance to creep, flexibility & resistance to cracking. SuperbStrap are far less susceptible to creep compared to other soil reinforcing elements. Creep is negligible in post construction stages and during the service life of the structure for SuperbStrap. FHWA recommends a lower reduction factor for PET grids compared to HDPE grids; which means Polyester geogrids are more durable & resistant to creep than HDPE grids.

SuperbStrap is flexible, light in weight, easy to handle and comes in roll form to make construction easier & faster. It is easy andsimple to install without the requirement of any special cutting or handling tools. It follows the natural profile of ground and remain in place after being installed, without recoil. There are no sharp edges, which may injure workers.SuperbStrap are state-of-the-art factory-produced products and the technical specifications conform to ASTM, BS, FHWA and GRI testing requirements. Relevant test results can be supplied along with all shipments to site from our factory QC labs. SuperbStrap has been tested at NABL accredited renowned laboratory, for its short term tensile strengths, creep performance and installation damage report. In design of geogrids reinforced soil wall, reduction factors for creep & installation damage are used, accordingly.
